Something in the AIr

The ghosts and goblins are showing themselves as All Hallow's Eve approaches.
This ghost resides in the Junction-
and we are amazed that you can't even see his strings from the street.

Good Monday Morning!

We get a kick out of this little guy from a South side neighborhood. We don't know if he is saying "Hello, or warning us away, but either way, if he hears you coming he jumps on his fence and keeps watch till you have passed.

Vintage Needle

Patiently waiting our turn in the Water Works line off 5th Ave., we couldn't help but realize how you really do not see signs like this one at Pueblo Bank and Trust anymore. We pass it all the time and don't think much, but  at the time,  signs like these suggested upscale service and success. And of course if you venture in, the bank's marble floors still present you with that idea today. It's a definite old school bank. And of course almost anything up against Pueblo's brilliant blue skies makes us take a second look.

265 Days of Sun + A Bit of Presistance =

Pueblo Grown Lemons!
With our city's near year-round sunshine, plus it's summer heat to add a bit of sweetness, we knew with a lot of love and care we could produce a lemon as pretty as those we were in awe of in Sorrento!   So, when life literally hands you lemons (with no snow when everyone else is getting it), we Puebloans can make lemonade!

Can't say we have come across one of these before..

A Belt Buckle Collection that is. On display at the Pueblo West Library. A nice gentleman just wanted to share. Hmm.

The French Address Plate

When your new postman can't find your house, you know your address numbers painted on the curb are in bad need of a re-do. So, when the Bronco template guy was a no show, we figured we could do our own fancier one. Inspired by the address plates French residents are given by their town officials, we painstakingly hand painted our own in a bright colbalt blue. We even laquered it a few times to give it the sheen the French tiles have. So far, we are loving the curb appeal it adds!

Ball of Fire

Um, we are not quite sure what this is. We just liked the colors and shape against the cloudy sky- it had something of a "Thor" look to it, it was thought by some of our team members. We pass it quite often. Anyone recall where they have seen it?

Sun Doughnut

Practicing  stop motion with our new os7 upgrade, I don't know that we were very successful, but adding a blur filter sure softened things up for us so we can capture this doughnut shaped sculpture without stopping traffic in front of the Municipal Justice Center on Main St.

Autumn Crimson

Thank you guest photographer for sending in this gorgeous picture!
This hibiscus decided to give us one last show of the season and boy did it ever. These crimson petals were out doing the fall leaves around it in this Mesa Junction neighborhood.
