Pastel on Water Color

This masterpiece by M.M.
We had to show you this piece as it so speaks to our Masthead! Created by a special young student at the Sage Art Academy. We think it's beautiful!

Wilbur in Green

This lovely creation is yet another, familiar work by local artist John Wilbur. Set along the creative corridor, we spotted it by the ice arena.

A Lift of Color

As we may have mentioned before, one of the challenges of bringing a picture a day is the lack of color during the winter. Its seems through the camera lens everything is a shade of gray or brown. Well, not so at this neat little park tucked away off Ash on the East side of town. On a recent geocaching quest we were welcomed with blazes of color from the murals painted by Anthony Armijo at Plaza Verde Park.

Some Color for Your Day

Yes, it can be challenging to get a good picture in the winter when everything is brown and gray. Unless you happen across the path of Pueblo's Creative Corridor. You can fin art and color to perk up your day. Keep posted for more to come. We love to highlight the art around town and are proud that the city has such talent. Want to learn more? Head downtown and start walking on your 500 miles!

Into the Blue

Funny, almost everywhere we ventured yesterday people were wearing blue. Myself included. Are we all just ready for a change of colors from the green and red of the holidays? This blue piece of art work found along Pueblo's own "Creative Corridor" is soothing to the eyes.

Pure Charm

Isn't the walkway up to this week's front door enchanting?  They even have a sculpture from a local artist, who we have had the pleasure of meeting and will be posting about him soon. This wonderful garden is seen on Orman Ave.

King of the Jungle

We had to share this mural with you. A friend of ours has it on a wall in his bedroom in PW. What little boy wouldn't love to have this majestic mural to wake up to every morning and keep watch on him every night? The signature wasn't too clear on the artist, but we think they did an excellent job!

Come on By!

We have several "Pueblo Kitchen Stools", hand painted and screen printed with our own French inspired logo
Those of you who have been humoring me and my "Before" and "After" makeover pictures for the last few years may know I have been looking for a venue for my furniture as "Art" projects. Well, we couldn't think of a more convienient place than our very own neighborhood. This weekend Aberdeen will be hosting a neighborhood yard sale on Saturday from 8am to 2 pm.  We will be testing the waters with a booth of our up-cycled, vintage, one of a kind furniture creations! Come by and check the neighborhood! I already have an eye on a settee down the street!

Here is just small taste of what we'll have. Feel free to email us with any inquiries!

Coffee Bot

With the sun ricocheting off every angle of this gent, it was hard to get a clear picture, but he can be seen sipping a cup of joe at a coffee shack near 29th and Elizabeth. No, its not a real person in a costume, its lifelike coffee house art.

Lady in White

This little lady can be seen perched downtown in the vicinity of 5th and Court st.
Pueblo is home to several artists, and its a joy to see local businesses showing support by showcasing their work. Molded in what appears to be stone, this Native American woman holds a piece of pottery.
