Out on the Bayou

Have you ever noticed the island in the lake at Mineral Palace?  I guess we never really had either, till we spotlighted the park this week. Its plush and green and overgrown and is the home to many a feathered friend. We were witness to a lot of "fowl" play the day we did our discovery walk around.

Arches and Marches

This little guy marches alone across the front of the historical bridge in Mineral Palace Park

Globes of Light

These neat little globes sit atop the posts on the bridge in Mineral Palace Park. We think they are quite elegant and add to the great history of the park.
