The Art of Nature

Today's picture can almost be artwork couldn't it? Subjectively they all could I suppose.

This abstract piece is a masterwork of mother nature. It's actually the dried up lake bed of Minnequa lake off Lake Ave. It's all in the eye of the beholder - had the photo been cropped differently you would see fish bones and a shoe print!

Fire and Ice

A large grass fire broke out at Minnequa Lake over the weekend. Thankfully no one or nothing was hurt, and we get a rare glimpse of these two classical elements together.
